Big Bat Count at Otterhead Lakes Saturday 18th July The Big Bat Count, is a Somerset Bat group project that lets people find out about their local bats.  The counts involve self guided groups of people using the latest technology to automatically ID the bats, and then they log their sightings online to produce a local bat map on the night.  Instant results!  These are proving very popular.
