DESCRIPTION:Delve into ‘The Work of Giants!’\, an immersive film installation exploring the mysteries of ancient landscapes and the imagined creators of monumental sites. \nSaturday 11 October 2025 to Saturday 1 November 2025 \nOpen Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 5pm \nThe commissioned artists are a duo from Four of Swords (Phil and Sarah)\, one of the South West’s most experienced immersive theatre companies\, working with the talented musician Jim Causley. \nThis project is part of the Nature Calling national art programme\, funded by Arts Council England. It is the outcome of work led by Blackdown Hills National Landscape and East Devon National Landscape with support from Thelma Hubert Gallery\, Dementia Friendly Honiton\, Honiton Community College and English Heritage. \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Fungi Foray at Holman Clavel
DESCRIPTION:A guided walk through woodland to identify fungi\, followed by a pub-based display of our finds. \nWe will look for mushrooms and toadstools of all sorts and learn how to identify them while discussing their ecology.  Typically we have a one to two hour walk in woodland\, possibly necessitating a short drive\, preferably car-sharing.
