DESCRIPTION:This August bank holiday\, come and view the rare surviving ruins of Hemyock’s moated medieval castle; the remaining gatehouse archway\, towers and curtain-walls which surround the older manor house. There is an interpretation centre\, self-guided tour\, artefacts and many other displays. \nThis year\, there will special display for VJ Day which marks the date that Japan announced its surrender in the second world war. \nPlease check Hemyock Castle’s website for more details \nAdults £1\, school children 50p. \nSome free parking.
