SUMMARY:Mills of the River Culm walking tour
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thurday 12 September 6pm at Coldharbour Mill for the Mills of the River Culm walking tour. \nThe walking tour of the Coldharbour Mill estate\, led by Bryher Mason\, Chair of Trustees at Coldharbour Mill and Associate Director at Avalon Planning and Heritage\, will explore the evidence for the dynamic industrial past of the mill. We will also examine how industry has impacted the wider Culm Valley and how its heritage is managed today. \nWe will meet at the Coldharbour Mill carpark and the walking tour will last about one hour. We will be walking on rough and potentially muddy paths. Appropriate footwear is required\, and long trousers are recommended. \nThis event is part of the Blackdown Hills National Landscape Festival of Heritage 2024. \nFree event.
