SUMMARY:Fungi Foray - Otterford
DESCRIPTION:Join local botanist David Allen on a guided walk\, in search of wild mushrooms. \nThis woodland walk of approximately two hours will give you a chance to learn how to identify mushrooms and toadstools and find out about their ecology. We may need to drive a short distance\, preferably car-sharing\, from the pub where we’ll meet to reach the woodland. \nFollowing the walk there will be a display of finds to demonstrate relationships between the species found. There will also be an opportunity to taste some mushroom samples. \nNumbers are strictly limited to 15 at all events\, so booking is essential. Tel. 01404 861394/07871 258064.
