DESCRIPTION:An exhibition of artworks from the Does Happiness Grow on Trees? competition that the three Somerset AONB’s ran during Naturally Healthy Month this year. \nPeople from around Somerset entered the competition which challenged them to come up with artwork illustrating how being in green spaces and exploring local landscapes makes them feel. \nThis exhibition includes the winning entries from the competition and a selection of the artworks submitted\, including painting\, drawing\, photography\, poetry and creative writing getting up close to flowers\, mud\, plants\, insects and wildlife. \n

DESCRIPTION:Come and view the rare surviving ruins of Hemyock’s moated medieval castle; the remaining gatehouse archway\, towers and curtain-walls which surround the older manor house – much more than can be seen from the road. There is an interpretation centre\, artefacts and many other displays. \nThere are accessible toilets nearby in Hemyock village. Refreshments are available locally in Hemyock village – nearby St Mary’s Church usually offers teas. \nPlease check Hemyock Castle’s website for any last minute changes. \n
