SUMMARY:Staple Hill and Staple Park Wood walk
DESCRIPTION:Join Taunton Dean Ramblers on this five-mile\, moderate walk with some hills. The walk will set off from Staple Hill\, the highest point in the Blackdown Hills and explore Staple Park Wood\, both part of the Forestry England’s woodlands. \nParking can be limited\, depending on how many people turn up on the day. \nWalkers are requested to bring their own refreshments like drinks and any snacks. \nThe walk will be on fields\, tracks\, bridleways and quiet country lanes\, often with stiles and inclines. Good walking boots are typically expected to be worn. \nThe walks are aimed at those who are used to walking\, though are led at a pace suitable for the group. There is a general guidance of two miles per hour\, but this can naturally vary\, and hence some walks may not be suitable for everyone. \nPeople can come along to three walks before they might like to join the Ramblers\, but we don’t turn anyone away! \nMeet at Staple Hill car park.
