DESCRIPTION:Learn to build and work wood as our early medieval ancestors did. \nThis event is a unique opportunity to be involved in the re-construction of an Anglo-Saxon hut\, based on recent excavations in Somerset. Each day will be a fully hands-on experience\, utilising the tools and techniques of the period to build the structure over the course of a week\, from raising the frame to thatching the roof. \n£60 per day. \n
