SUMMARY:Nightjars and owls
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening adventure at Staple Hill for a nightjar and owl walk and talk. \nWe will be guided by experts from the Somerset Ornithological Society and the British Trust for Ornithology on the search for the elusive nightjar; we will be listening out for their distinctive calls and if we are lucky we may even catch a glimpse these rarely seen birds. We will also be listening out for owls. \nThe evening will consist of a longer walk around Staple Hill and North Down Plantation within the Blackdown Hills. As we walk\, you will be provided with a variety of information regarding nightjar and owl ecology\, conservation practices and the behaviours of these fascinating birds. \nWeather dependant – we will keep you updated.
