SUMMARY:Fungal Foray - mushroom extravaganza
DESCRIPTION:Quantock Nature plans to continue running some wild mushroom events this season subject to Covid rules at the time. \nWe search for mushrooms and toadstools\, learn how to identify them and discuss their ecology\, typically during a two hour walk in woodland\, often necessitating a short drive (car sharing when ever possible) from the pub where we meet at 11am. \nA mushroom extravaganza.  A short walk followed by a display and demonstration by master chef Andrew Long on preparation and cooking methods\, with a chance to sample a selection of what has been prepared. \nBooking essential as numbers are restricted to 15 people. \nTel 01404 861394/07871 258064. \nEmail: leo@leoallen.plus.com \n  \n
